Advanced critiquing:
$20 per 1000 words (negotiable)

• All the elements in Intermediate Copy Editing (above), plus
• Commentary on Characterisation
• Plot Analysis
• First Level Fact Checking
All club members receive a 10% discount on prices, and another 10% of proceeds are donated to the club.
Individual styles can be accommodated as well as particular publisher requirements.
Documents can be emailed or hardcopy, with time available to discuss details of comments/corrections.
Turnaround time can be negotiated, although quick turnarounds may incur higher rates.

Having been raised by a pair of teachers (one an English teacher) the details of grammar are so ingrained into my psyche that I have difficulty reading even a professionally published book without finding and marking errors. During my recent stretch at CSUS, I worked closely with a few professors in the English department helping them fine-tune their classroom presentations, and after getting my Bachelor’s degree, I was asked by a professor in the math department to return to campus and continue grading papers for him.
